Aeroplane Chess is China's most-played family board game, and this version keeps every rule a generation of players grew up with. Each player starts with four planes on a launchpad and races them home along a fixed track; you only take off on a 5 or a 6, you can stack with your own color, and you must land on the matching color to take a shortcut. Eat an opponent and they go back to base. Play locally with friends or against the AI, with dice you can actually see roll. The mood is light, but the late game can get cutthroat - one well-timed jump can erase a whole afternoon's lead. Ideal for two to four players, a quick session, and the kind of laughter that comes from knocking a sibling back to start.
